OUR THREE WINGS

OUR WORK

Computer Operator
Course
At Amrita Devi Foundation, we believe that digital literacy is the first step toward independence and opportunity. Our Computer Operator Course is specially designed to upskill girls and women from underserved communities, equipping them with the technical and professional skills needed to thrive in today's digital world.
Through this course, learners gain hands-on knowledge of essential computer applications and to ensure holistic development, the program includes Personality Development (PD) sessions that enhance communication skills, confidence, and workplace etiquette—empowering our learners to succeed in both personal and professional spheres.
We currently run this program across multiple centers, ensuring accessibility to rural and semi-urban regions, where opportunities for digital education are often limited.
This course is more than just training—it is a pathway to financial independence, enhanced self-worth, and sustainable livelihoods.

Stitching &Tailoring
Course
At Amrita Devi Foundation, we are committed to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women by nurturing their talents and equipping them with vocational skills. Our Stitching and Tailoring Course is a flagship initiative that helps women and girls gain financial independence by mastering the art of sewing and tailoring.
This course is designed to provide hands-on training in cutting, stitching, embroidery, and tailoring of both traditional and modern garments. From basic techniques to advanced tailoring, we focus on building the capacity to start home-based businesses or take up employment in boutiques and garment units. Alongside stitching skills, we also provide Personality Development (PD) sessions, enabling our learners to market their products, build customer relationships, and grow their confidence.
We run this course at multiple centers, ensuring that women in remote and rural areas also get access to skill-based education and a better future.
This program not only teaches skills but helps women build identity, dignity, and income—one stitch at a time.

Digital Marketing
Course
Our flagship Digital Marketing Course is a powerful initiative by Amrita Devi Foundation aimed at preparing young women and girls for high-growth careers in the digital economy. This online program is designed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by providing industry-relevant training, no matter where the learner is located.
What sets us apart is our strong focus on career outcomes. Every student who completes the course is offered internship, and we work actively to connect them with job opportunities through our growing network of corporate partners.
We also conduct Personality Development (PD) training, ensuring students are industry-ready and confident to enter the workforce. Taught by industry professionals and certified trainers
This course is not just about digital skills—it's about creating independent, future-ready women who can thrive in today’s digital-first world.

Afforestration/
Plantation
Our Afforestation/Plantation Initiative is focused on Sandalwood plantation along with economically beneficial species.
Our plantations are not limited to trees—they are rooted in impact. From the Himalayan foothills to the Aravalli ranges, we plant ecologically significant and economically beneficial species.
Each plantation project is community-driven, engaging local women, farmers, and youth in planting, maintenance, and protection—thus generating income and encouraging a sense of environmental responsibility.
Our afforestation sites are monitored regularly to ensure high survival rates, and we continue to expand our reach with support from CSR partners, government bodies, and individual donors.
This initiative reflects our commitment to a greener, healthier planet.

One such intervention is our Smokeless Chulha (Improved Cookstove) Distribution Initiative, which addresses the often-ignored issue of indoor air pollution in traditional rural kitchens.
So far, we have successfully distributed 110 smokeless Chulha’s in remote villages, directly benefiting women and families who previously cooked on open fires. These eco-friendly chulhas not only reduce harmful smoke emissions by up to 80%, but also consume less firewood, easing the burden of fuel collection and lowering the risk of deforestation.
Each unit is installed with hands-on training and demonstration, and local women are also educated on safe cooking practices, fuel efficiency, and long-term maintenance.
Through this initiative, we aim to reach thousands more homes, ensuring that no woman has to risk her health just to feed her family.

Our Skill India Initiative is designed to empower youth by bridging the gap between education and employability.
Through this program, we provide 6 months of intensive training by industry experts, focusing on current and high-demand job roles across IT sectors.
After successful completion of the training, every participant is offered a internship to gain real-world experience, followed by placement assistance to help them start their professional journey with confidence.
This initiative not only builds skills but also fosters financial independence, reduces unemployment and migration, and contributes to nation-building through youth empowerment.
Through this initiative, we are not just skilling youth—we are unlocking their potential to lead and succeed in the modern workforce.
